Privacy
Your text stays yours
GlyphType requires no account, carries no advertising and performs no personal or behavioral analytics.
Editor content
Text entered into the editor is processed in the browser and is not transmitted to GlyphType servers. Locally saved drafts and interface preferences use browser storage on the visitor’s own device.
When a visitor explicitly chooses a sharing function, the selected text is passed to the chosen external application, such as WhatsApp or Telegram. GlyphType does not send that text to its own server first.
Search and local fonts
Library searches run in the browser against catalog files downloaded from GlyphType. Search terms are not submitted to a GlyphType search service. A font selected through the local-font inspector remains in the browser and is not uploaded by the interface.
Anonymous aggregate action counter
The editor currently maintains one aggregate action total. When a counted editor action occurs, the application sends an empty request that increments a number and updates its timestamp. The request contains no editor text, search term, account identifier or application-generated user identifier. The counter cannot determine unique visitors.
Technical server logs
Like most web hosting infrastructure, the hosting provider may maintain technically necessary access and error logs. GlyphType does not combine those logs with editor content and does not use them to build personal profiles or behavioral analytics.
No registration. No advertising. No personal analytics. Editor content is not transmitted to GlyphType servers.
